My passion for financial services developed over many years of working closely with my own financial adviser and realising the opportunity that professional advice provides in making a real difference to people’s lives. After 26 successful years in the motor industry, as Centre Principal at Toyota & Lexus, the opportunity arose to undertake an intense period of study to complete the exams necessary to qualify as a financial adviser.

I have known Ken for a number of years and we share the same ethos about looking after people and putting clients first so I leapt at the chance to join Tunstall Financial Management in the autumn of 2020, and in In November 2022 I took over the ownership and management of the company. As partners with Openwork Ltd I can continue my professional development on the road to becoming a Chartered Financial Planner.

It has quickly become apparent to me that financial planning and advice is a continuous journey for both clients and advisers and I look forward to building enduring relationships over many years to come.

Other interests include cycling, skiing, travel and church. I am a trustee and director of Acts Trust in Lincoln, a school governor and a CAP Money Coach (Christians Against Poverty).

After a senior management career in banking, I started Tunstall Financial Management in 1997 to provide professional financial advice to the growing number of people who were looking for help and guidance in setting and achieving their financial goals.

Today, the world of finance is quite different, and the need for trusted financial advice has never been greater! Making a difference to people’s lives, by helping them along their journey to financial independence, is extremely rewarding and I feel fortunate to have been able to help so many clients over the years.

Although ownership of the company has now passed to James I still have an appetite to help more people, and with a lifetime of financial services experience I am delighted to remain as part of the team at Tunstall FM.
